I won’t lie, i have missed a lot of MuziqalTone’s productions. Since the start of the year, there has only been a few times we digested his productions but this is changing with his recent mixtape that was captured by the Top Dawg Session.
Mixes are a powerful tools for producers. With it, they sample a whole lot of their productions at a single swipe and the playlisted productions that captures the mind of listeners the most are what they usually push out during their next release schedule. Following this age-long tradition, MuziqalTone has served us with this powerful mixtape that is a summary of his works and innovations for the year.
This mixtape was recorded in his bedroom and shared through Top Dawg Session platform. The tape runs for one hour and it’s a blend of Private School Piano and Sgidongo, a new sound of Amapiano that he’s helping to pioneer and refine. The tracks featured here are perfectly blended together despite their different origins. What truly distinguishes this collection, however, is its refusal to dilute the influences of those origins.
