Shebeshxt has called out Dj Maphorisa for releasing their collaborative single without his consent. Shebeshxt said he found out about the record release online which he felt is not a right thing to do by an established figure.
Shebeshxt made the revelation during a podcast session with L-Tido. Twerka was released in December of 2023 via New Money Gang Records featuring Xduppy but didn’t get much positive reviews from fans.
While it amassed some good numbers of streams, it flopped greatly and was unable to capture the festive dancefloor. Months after the release of the project, Shebeshxt is registering his displeasure of how the track was released and distributed.
DJ Maphorisa hasn’t responded to Shebeshxt’s statement.
