It’s been quite a while we heard a release from Kmat and her absence is begining to get felt. Luckily for us, she makes a surprise return to the trends table with the release of “MKK” featuring CowBoii, djygubzin.live & Ranger.
When Kmat released her debut Luminous Flame EP in January of 2023, many people actually thought she would not be able to pull numbers. But guess what? She pulled a big stunt and the EP eventually became one of the chart topping project from a female figure in that year. Tracks like “Bafuna Mina” featuring Felo Le Tee, 2woshort & Stompiiey, “Drip Iyabiza” with Thabza Tee, 031CHOPPA & Felo Le Tee and “Drip Iyabiza” easily dominated the charts and made Kmat a formidable force in the Amapiano music scene.
One year after the release of the project, our ears are already itching for more from the artists and she comes for the rescue with this banging new track called “MKK” featuring CowBoii, djygubzin.live & Ranger.
This track has a runtime of six minutes and it’s that perfect melodic piece to dispel any notions that Kmat is an industry plant who only works with the best and well known producers to create hit.
