It looked like Hiphop was sleeping but thanks to Kendrick Lamar for his musical awakening via this Drake Diss Track, “Not Like Us.” The track which took Drake to the cleaners showcases Kendrick Lamar’s lyrical prowess and word play.
This newest record isn’t only dominating the charts and playlists, but it is also breaking records. “Not Like Us” is one of the most viral song from Kendrick Lamar, amassing over 18 million streams on YouTube in just barely 24 hours after its release. Not even his Humble hit record pulled this number in such a short period of time.
On “Not Like Us,” Kendrick Lamar poured out his mind about his range and perception about Drake, he talked about how they are both not in the same league and exposed lots of dirty secrets about the Toronto rapper, but in a subtle way.
The track comes as a follow-up to Meet the Grahams which was released a couple of days back. “Not Like Us” is currently no. 10 on YouTube music chart and it might climb further up in the coming days.
