Dropping her 2024 banger, she has just teamed up with Iyanya & Prince Benza for this banging new offering called “Number1.”
Released a couple of hours ago, “Number1” is has magically climbed the top of the charts, amassing nearly 400k cumulative streams. With this numbers, you can already tell that the record is perfectly crafted and deserves to settle on your playlist.
To some extent, we have been used to the styles coming from South Africa and there is nothing wrong in combining diverse sounds to create something truly special. Making a special record for 2024, Makhadzi has combined some AfroBeat flavours which was delivered by Nigeria’s Iyanya with her typical Bolo soundscapes to create a song that is truly infectious.
The first time Makhadzi teased this record on her socials, majority of her fans went gaga and for a long time, she continued to get positive feedback from fans about the record. Now, she is finally here with the complete record and this one is a drop suitable for any big room venue.
The track has garnered close to l a Million Global Streams since its release. And it has also held a top position on Apple & Spotify’s “New Music Mzansi” playlists.
