Many of you have only witnessed the curating side of Simple Tone, but believe me, he’s also got some mad production skills which he showcases in this fierce Za’nes & Legendary Crisp-assisted record called “Imizwa.”
I’m one of those who still believe that Simple Tone’s Simple Fridays series is one of the most powerful mixtape in the Amapiano scene. How he effortlessly switch between instrumental and vocal offerings need to be studied. While his mixes are packed with productions from other figures, he usually features his own production and now we are being blessed with a one track that has been sought-after on his recent mixes and it’s called “Imizwa.”
“Imizwa” is a vocal track that encompasses Simple Tone’s innate need to allow us feel our inner emotions, this time preventing us from being vulnerable. Featuring Za’nes & Legendary Crisp, this offering will be Simple Tone’s second release for the year and I think we would love to hear more singles from him rather than mixes because this one really do bang nice.
As progress deep into the year 2024, we can expect this versatile producer and deejay to continue to lead the pack with a fearless, holistic approach to everything Amapiano. This is just the beginning as the producer has promised to unlock more heaters from his corners as time goes by.
Enjoy.
