Tyla has come under fire for showing support for controversial Miss SA contestant, Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina.
Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina recently resigned from the Miss SA 2024 contestant following the findings by the department of Home Affairs which concluded that her identity and documents might have been forged.
Reacting to the conversation, Tyla has said that she is disappointed in what they made Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina go through. She said that while she stand with South Africa, she is not in support of the way the young girl was bullied.

Sensing Tyla’s support for Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina, whom many South Africans feel was not qualified to represent the country, Tyla came under fire from her South African fan base, who expressed their disappointment in her.
