K.O & Nasty C Revive HipHop Culture via ‘Too Much’

Don’t call it over for the HipHop sound in South Africa yet until you listen to K.O & Nasty C’s newest release, ‘Too Much.’

For years now, HipHop seems to have lost a lot of its steam in the SA music scene, this is as a result of the rise of local sound like Amapiano, Afro House/Pop and Bolo. With the declining influence of the HipHop culture in Mzansi, only a few rapper are still eating big. Infact, a lot of HipHop rappers are now switching sound and pairing with Amapiano producers to create a somewhat hybrid sound.

HipHop artists like Focalistic and the late Costa Titch only began to gain international relevance the moment they ditched HipHop for Amapiano. With only a few soldiers standing, K.O & Nasty C are seeking to revive the fading culture in Mzansi with their newest entry, ‘Too Much.’

‘Too Much’ is released through Skhanda World and the visual of the track will be out in the coming hours. Here is another reason why you should become a HipHop addict again.
