I don’t know how Xowla does it, but giving us steady bangers every new week is no small feat. Today, he’s called on Lwah Ndlunkulu for this stunning new track called ‘Umsindo We Nhliziyo.’
Known in the AfroPop music realm for his addictive, beautiful vocals, Xowla has grown to become one of South Africa’s biggest artists, consistently releasing dancefloor-igniting singles. Continuing to take listeners on a wild melodic ride, the singer is back with another new single that fuses AfroPop and Soul.
Of course, AfroPop and Soul aren’t too far apart, as both have similar rhythms. Xowla and Lwah Ndlunkulu’s latest collaboration is a perfect example of how blending elements of both genres can result in a dope offering.
‘Umsindo We Nhliziyo’ is the latest from them and this track was supposed to be out earlier than now but its release was postponed to accommodate Inkabi Nation & Wanitwa Mos’ joint releases, ‘Ukude’ and ‘Ngizok’Posta.’ Infectious, bouncy and fun, this Afropop offering is a peak time party starter through and through.
