Vocalist Yallunder Has Died

Rising Amapiano and Soulful vocalist, Yallunder has died. The singer passed on the 13th of March 2025 at Charlotte Maxeke Academy Hospital.

Her demise was made public by one of her closest buddy, Sfiso Vee Vilakazi in a post that reads: Hi All, We are deeply saddened to announce the untimely passing of our loved one uYolanda Nyembezi on the 13th of March 2025 at Charlotte Maxeke Academy Hospital. Proceedings of the memorial and burial will be shared by the family. Please do allow the family and friends privacy during this difficult time. Our sincere condolences to all those that loved and celebrated Yolanda’s life.

Yallunder hails from Bizana in Eastern Cape and was born August 23 1994 (30years). A graduate of Tshwane University of Technology, she made her burst into the SA music scene with her Ndinovalo hit single. In 2023, her vocals captivated many following her feature on Kelvin Momo and Stixx’s ‘Uku Khanya.’ The following year, she released ‘Langa’elihle’ with Kelvin Momo, Babalwa M, and Sia Mzizi, a single that amassed over 5 million cumulative streams. She didn’t stop there, her vocals on Kelvin Momo’s Intyatyambo single with Babalwa M was phenomenal and gave the Ntsako album its biggest hits.

Yallunder wasn’t just an ordinary vocalist, she was a soulful healer, a compassionate being whose offerings uplifts and heals the broken soul.
