While we patiently wait for the release of the Onkgopotse album, DJ Jaivane has presented us with yet another stunning mixtape and this one was recorded during his last performance at the Hangawt 1632’s Siya Birthday Celebration bash.
DJ Jaivane has been in a lot of controversies lately. From Record L Jones calling him out for his refusal to pay royalties for the “Ubusha Bethu” hit single he produced to Smaki 08 threatening legal actions after Jaivane’s distributor refusal to include his name in the tracks he produced in the upcoming Onkgopotse album.
While many people think the recent beefs is a publicity stunt to promote the upcoming Onkgopotse project, a deeper look at things shows a misunderstanding that if not handled properly could lead to something disastrous but we believe it won’t get to that extent has Simnadi records has just issued a statement promising to resolve issues with all parties, especially Smaki 08 whose name was omitted from the tracks he helped produced due to some marketing strategies by the distributor.
As all parties move to the negotiation table, DJ Jaivane has assured fans that the release of Onkgopotse would go on as planned and just few hours to its release, he has teamed up with the Hangawt 1632 session for this lovely mixtape.
