Rising Amapiano producer, Shaunmusiq has perhaps has released the most captivating album of his career thus far, “SWEET & DUST,” a sixteen-track project shows us the range of the range emerging figure and the palette of his sounds.
I think we have to agree that Shaunmusiq is flourishing in his solo career path. Since limiting duo partnership with Ftears, he has pushed out a good number of bangers and today, he’s back with a fine collection of acts called “SWEET & DUST,” and this one harkens back to Amapiano’s roots, featuring an infusion of modern sounds with the traditional Piano essence and the result is a full-length album you won’t be able to resist.
“SWEET & DUST” is not just not any album, it’s a detailed works of acts that showcases the mature sound of ShaunMusiq that should quiet any Amapiano naysayers whom claim that ShaunMusiq’s soundscapes isn’t among the top leading in the Amapiano space.
This album boast of support from the likes of Thatohatsi, Daliwonga, Sino Msolo, Power, Play &Rio Dinerro, CowBoii, Scotts Maphuma, Makhekhe Jr, DJ Maphorisa & Visca. And every track feels unique, cutting through the noise that has filtered through the Amapiano genre in recent years with sharp definition.
