MaWhoo is not satisfied with a couple of singles dominating the charts, she wants a total takeover and she intends achieving that with her forthcoming EP, Amazwi Okubonga, which is set to hit stores on the 28th of August.
MaWhoo is arguably one of the biggest vocalists in the Amapiano scene. In less than a decade since emerging in the mainstream, she has established herself as one of the biggest and most captivating voices to come out from south Africa. During her short time in the scene, she has already delivered a long list of stunning bangers that can only be rivalled by a few.
Continuing to solidify her hold in the scene, she has just announced that her next studio project is ready and will be out on stores by the end of August.
“Amazwi Okubonga” will host 9 tracks and it will include MaWhoo’s chart topping single, “Bengicela” which featured GL_Ceejay & Thukuthela. The upcoming album will be a combination of Amapiano and 3Step, a diverse collection of tracks that most EP of modern era lacks.
