The Masetla’s family have announced the memorial and burial details of their late son Caven Masetla popularly known as Poizen who died on the morning of Saturday, 30 August 2025 after involving in a fatal car accident.
According to the official statement from the family, there will be two memorial services in honour of Poizen. The first will be held in Gauteng on Thursday, 11 September 2025, at the Centurion Shisanyama, and the second will be held in Limpopo on Friday, 12 September 2025, at the Napscom Hall. The theme for both occasions is Black & Green.
Following the two memorials, Poizen will finally be laid to rest on 13 September 2025 at the Ga-Malesa Cemetery. Venue for the funeral service will be at Napscom Hall in Limpopo.

Poizen will forever be remembered for his contribution to the growth of Deep House music in South Africa. May his soul rest in peace!
