You can’t talk SA music and not mention the enormous contributions of women to the survival of the industry. Right from the days of Brenda Fassie, women have always been a pillar of everything South African music and Brandon Dhludhlu intends to honour these beautiful souls with his forthcoming EP release.
“Girls Love Deep House Vol.1” will be out on 26 November 2025 and it will be made of tracks that are strictly of Deep House origins but with a feminine touch.
Dedicated to women, this EP will feature the assistance of only female vocalist but production will include male talents for gender inclusivity. The EP will include collaborations with two international artists from Botswana, Jinger Stone and Dato Seiko, alongside a dynamic mix of new and familiar producers, including Deep Essential, Dynamic Soul, SWVRE, Da Gifto, and Fatso 98, each adding unique sonic layers to this boundary-pushing collection.
“I wanted to try something that hasn’t been done before by featuring only female vocalists who are good in their respective fields or genres and bringing them together in a deep house project,” says Brandon.
