You have to agree that young talents and producers are the ones keeping the Amapiano trend alive. Not that veterans aren’t doing enough, but the passion these young artists put into their productions is unmatched. Mulest Vankay is a testament to this, as his Pcee-, Scotts Maphuma-, and Slyzza Rsa-assisted production titled “Mark Zuckerberg” has been tearing down dancefloors and speakers across the country.
Bedrooms have produced far more Amapiano bangers than proper studios with million-dollar equipment. I may not have the exact data, but I estimate that 40% of Amapiano hits were created by a regular guy sitting in his bedroom in shorts and boxers. Of course, when these songs hit the mainstream, veterans and record labels bring them into the studio for proper finishing.
“Mark Zuckerberg” is an example of such a track. Produced in the corners of Mulest Vankay’s space with perfect assistance from Pcee, Scotts Maphuma, and Slyzza Rsa, the rising producer has delivered 2026’s first proper hit, and we can’t wait to hear more.
This record is out everywhere and two things that make this song shocking are that it is made of the old vibes that once attracted many of us to Amapiano and this track has a very soulful country feel to it.
