After many anticipation and wait, Scotts Maphuma & Bob Mabena have finally released their long awaited EP, “Gijima.”
Scotts Maphuma is a versatile figure who needs no introduction. While many of you may think he is only good with his voice, the man is also a producer and a well-conceived DJ. This may come as a surprise to some of you, but it is the truth. It’s no wonder he manages to balance himself well in any offering he is involved in.
Bob Mabena, on the other hand, is a rising force known for pushing out solid bangers. While you may notice something unique in his recent sounds, you should know that there is always room for personal growth as an artist, especially in the Amapiano scene, where changes sweep across the space every now and then. To overcome these challenges, artists are broadening their production skills, as we see Bob Mabena doing.
Showing how far he has come with his craft, he has teamed up with Scotts Maphuma for this 9-track album. The project features assistance from the likes of QuayR Musiq, Makhekhe Jr, Mellow & Sleazy, LastBornDiroba, TheBuu, CowBoii, Mdeshkayro, Uncool MC, Tman Xpress, Thatohatsi, and LastBornDiroba.
