TJ AGENCY, the official management of emerging Lekompo vocalist Queen Terc, has confirmed her passing.
The singer and songwriter was involved in a car accident in the early hours of April 30, 2026. Although she did not pass away at the scene, she was quickly attended to by qualified medical personnel. Unfortunately, she later succumbed to her injuries.
“It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that we confirm the passing of Queen Terc The Vocalist, who was involved in a tragic car accident. Despite all efforts made by medical personnel, she unfortunately succumbed to her injuries. Her passing is a tremendous loss to the music industry, her fans, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working with her,” the management said in a statement.
Queen Terc had only begun gaining traction with her breakout single “Mpotxe Nine Nine” alongside Caltonic Phb and Jmizz Rsa. The song, which has amassed close to a million streams, quickly established her as one of the most promising Lekompo vocalists to watch.
