The Lekompo Balcony Mix 9 is finally here and this one had live performance from the likes of Makhadzi, King Monada, Kaycherlow, PLG Chanty, Tribby Wadi Bhozza, PatronW, Lepaka & Dil Br.
Lekompo is still an emerging genre, and for it to be fully understood, platforms that assemble the genre’s finest talents are essential. At the moment, none comes close to the Lekompo Balcony Session. Not only were they the first to properly organise the genre, but they were also the first to inject mainstream party vibes and culture into the sound, attracting guest appearances not only from the Lekompo scene but also from mainstream talents across the country.
A couple of weeks ago, Makhadzi, King Monada, Kaycherlow, PLG Chanty, Tribby Wadi Bhozza, PatronW, Lepaka, and Dil Br were all brought together for another episode of the Lekompo Balcony feast, and their individual performances were both energetic and captivating.
This tape highlights some of the hottest sounds currently dominating the Lekompo scene, as well as emerging tracks that are likely to take over in the coming months.
