Romeo Makota has given us the May edition of the Amapiano Mix series and this one is filled with the latest tunes that has been dominating his set in recent times.
There is more to Romeo Makota’s sound than just mixes. While we agree that he attained fame through his live mixes, he has since grown his brand beyond that and is now mastering the production side of music. One of the results of this growth is the creation of his new genre, Stepiano.
Although currently championed mainly by him, this sound fuses 3-Step with Amapiano grooves, bridging the gap between the two genres while combining the finest elements of both. So far, he has produced a handful of these hybrid offerings, and while he already has an EP dedicated to the sound, an EP alone wouldn’t do justice to these productions or give them the exposure they deserve. For this reason, he is expanding its reach through this powerful mixtape.
This compilation runs for an hour and is packed with some of the very best of the Stepiano sound.
