Mellow & Sleazy are never tired of releasing bangers. Now, from their stable comes “Sebenza,” an explosive collaboration with Commander, Djy Ma’Ten, and Portia KM, and believe me, this one will do serious damage on the dancefloor, if it isn’t doing that already.
It’s been close to a decade, and Mellow & Sleazy are still very active in the Amapiano mainstream, especially when many of the people they started with have already hung up their boots and stepped away from the hot and steamy kitchen. By now, you should know that their survival up to this point isn’t a result of sheer luck, but rather their ability to bend and break musical rules and norms.
If you ask me, I’d say that quality is part of why they remain one of the biggest production forces in South Africa. The mark of any great artist is the audacity to break barriers between musical genres and transport listeners to another time and place, and this is exactly what Mellow & Sleazy have consistently achieved with their productions.
They are showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon, as they have now delivered this explosive new single, “Sebenza,” alongside Commander, Djy Ma’Ten, and Portia KM.
