For the fact that Scotts Maphuma is popular for his vocals, doesn’t necessarily mean he’s limited to that. Heck, he’s one of the finest DJs and producers we have seen in a long while, and while he prefers his vocal dominance, he doesn’t fail to use every opportunity he gets to show his production skills and curatorial integrity.
A couple of days ago, he made an appearance at Cyfred’s “The Scene” session, and his performance saw him assert himself as a solo force of nature, fusing together the many sounds found in his production arsenal while also introducing fresh melodies by other talents.
