Like I always say, no one works harder than MaWhoo in the South African music scene. Despite attaining massive fame, she still grinds like someone who is up-and-coming. Not to downplay emerging artists, but we all know they often work the hardest, especially when compared to established acts who may no longer put in the same level of effort they once dedicated to their craft.
This year alone, we have been treated to numerous releases from MaWhoo, and just this past weekend, she dropped a scorching new single with Joki titled “Somandla.” Already making waves on the charts, the singer-songwriter has now revealed that she has no plans of slowing down, as she intends to release two full-length albums before the end of the year.
The albums will be released months apart and could serve as a powerful showcase of her growth, artistry, and musical versatility.
“I’ll drop two full projects this year. I’m so excited, and I can’t wait,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
While very little is known about these upcoming projects, we believe they could arrive around August and November, perfectly timed to capitalize on the festive season.
