The only way to fully grasp the sounds of DJ Smallz is via a comprehensive project. Thankfully for us, the producer has just delivered to us this heavy album called “VOGUE.”
There is no way you think you have heard the best of DJ Smallz and fully understand the depth of his soundscapes and artistry. While his singles, “ZEP” with ZinedinexSguche, 031Choppa & Uncool MC, and “Zambuk” with Shakes & Les, Shoes Meister, Zinedane, Sguche & W4DE are still dominating the airwaves, these hit singles do not in any way do proper justice to the soundscapes of this emerging talent.
Yes, I agree that, to some extent, we have a big clue as to what his sound looks like and his technical approach and techniques to music production, but there’s more to his sound that we can only experience through albums. Thankfully, we get his first major album via “VOGUE.”
“VOGUE” is a collection of 10 tracks that dives deep into his soundscapes, touches on the many layers of his sound, and the result is a variety of tracks that many loyal fans have secretly approached him for behind the decks of several DJ booths, asking for a release or leak. Well, these good melodies are now out and available for all to enjoy.
