Mbalenhle M continues to prove that she is the next best vocalist to emerge from the South African music scene as she has just delivered to us another 3step-influenced banger, “Kuwe,” and this one is a collaboration with Skillz, Blaq Seed & Anzo.
When Mbalenhle M released “Ulwembu” in 2025 together with Maline Aura & Section Five, we knew there was something great about her. With the song amassing over 4 million streams across digital platforms, it didn’t take her long to follow up with other scorching bangers such as “Mbalenhle’s Prayer” featuring Smanga, VeeRsa & Soultaker Mthathi, and “uMakhwapheni” with Funktone and NayB.
With these songs, it only became normal for listeners of good music to demand more of her sound, and for this reason, she has released her debut EP, Ngokwami. And one track from this EP that seems to be taking over the senses is “Kuwe.”
On “Kuwe,” she teamed up with Skillz, Blaq Seed & Anzo, and together, they released a 3-Step song that is both catchy and melodious. Moreover, she explored her newfound style on this one, and that is why it’s the fans’ favourite pick on the EP.
