Cape Town is one place in South Africa where you get a host of undiluted Gqom experiences before such records eventually spread everywhere across the country. Gqom tracks are first sampled and played in clubs, and one track that has made the rounds in clubs in Cape Town is “Yhini.”
Although just released to stores, this song by Mr Thela & Zuko SA has been rocking clubs in Cape Town, and now dancefloors everywhere in the country will have to partake in it. The song is one that combines heavy bass with, surprisingly, Amapiano log drums. Vocals come in a few seconds into the track to give listeners that refined sound that they won’t be able to resist.
Mr Thela strayed from his typical production templates on this one to give us a unique experience with this chilled-out tune that can only be described as beautiful.
