Inkos’Yamagcokama’s death will continue to take a toll on all Maskandi listeners. Paying their last respect to the iconic star, Limit Nala & Sne Ntuli have teamed up for this tribute song called “Lashona Ilanga.”
Like our people say, no one knows the day they will join their ancestors. It could happen this very minute when you had plans going on, or it could happen in the next five decades. This uncertainty of life is what should make us all humble. Before his unexpected demise, Inkos’Yamagcokama had things in motion, including unreleased tracks, both solo and offerings he did with other talents like Limit Nala & Sne Ntuli. He also had gigs, shows, and other occasions that were in line before the fatal accident that took one of the finest acts in the Maskandi scene.
Ensuring most of Inkos’Yamagcokama’s works are never lost and buried, Limit Nala & Sne Ntuli have just released a song they did before his death. Released via “Lashona Ilanga,” this song reminds us of the great singer and performer that Inkos’Yamagcokama is, as well as the good melodies we should remember him for.
“Lashona Ilanga” is out everywhere, and it’s the second tribute song to Inkos’Yamagcokama this week alone, with the first we published being “Izinsimbi” by Inkosi kaVoicemail.
