Tumza D’Kota has given us another episode of his notorious album series. Out now is “Jaiva IV Series.”
When Tumza D’Kota left the Kota Embassy group, we thought it was a bad business move. We say this because the Kota Embassy band has been one of the biggest groups to exist in the Amapiano space, and they pioneered some of the biggest styles, talking about the integration of the Kota sound into the Amapiano sound.
Although most of these contributions were by Tumza D’Kota, we also can’t ignore the efforts of the other two members, N’kay & Nim. So Tumza D’Kota’s decision to leave a group whose dominance he helped shape was a big move, and not so surprisingly, he has pushed his independent career to even bigger heights. In fact, his career has only continued to skyrocket, with the release of bangers upon bangers.
Today, he’s here with another collection of bangers from his signature album series, “Jaiva IV Series,” and this one is made up of 19 tracks that not only showcase his production prowess but also highlight his deep-rooted knowledge of the Amapiano sound.
