MaWhoo & Lwah Ndlunkulu are the new Zulu Queens in the competitive South African industry, and they are about to display their reigns with their forthcoming album, “Isithembu.”

To be out August 28, 2026, this album will bring to fusion the best of both worlds, drawing in influences from the worlds of Amapiano, AfroPop, and most especially, Maskandi, which will be the vehicle in which the 15 tracks that will make up this album will drive on.

Already promoted by the single “Distance,” this project will take us on a long walk, deep into the individual artistry of MaWhoo & Lwah Ndlunkulu, and for the first time in a long while, you will be able to experience music at different wavelengths.
