A message of hope, love and happy vibe is what Snqamu Sodidla pass through his newest collection of melodies, Halala.
There is always something to love about the Maskandi sound. The variety in the sound is why it has remained one of the biggest traditional sounds not only in South Africa, but across the whole African continent. And this is made possible by the various talents in the scene that continue to add more spice to traditional Zulu flavours.
One artist who has held on to the true essence of Maskandi, while also bringing in stories of love, emotions, challenges, family ethics and, most especially, comic vibes, is Snqamu Sodidla, and today, he is making a big move with his delivery of “Halala.”
“Halala” is a collection of four tracks, and on this one, he created music that feels fresh, innovative and authentic to him and his traditional style. This EP will do magic on the charts, and sincerely, we are proud of the achievements that Snqamu Sodidla has made in the music mainstream, disproving people who think his physical stature will be a limitation to his dominance of the Maskandi scene. But look at what he has done! The sky is just the limit.
