Nobuhle made her debut in not only the AfroPop scene, but the whole of the South African music scene in 2021 with the album, Imvula. Featuring 15 solid songs, the project took us on a deep delve into her raw craft and writing prowess.
Five years after the release of the album, Imvula still appears to be the finest work the vocalist has ever produced, and with this fact established, it only makes sense that she extend its flavour with some new additions. To this extent, the singer has returned with Imvula Re-Birth, a 12-track project that sees her fuse Afrocentric folk, Pop, and soul into AfroHouse, resulting in a project that celebrates love, romance, faith, and purpose.
Imvula Re-Birth is out everywhere, and the inclusion of Mr Luu, Professor, Murumba Pitch featuring Lenza Musiq, Lenza Musiq, Kabza De Small, Young Stunna, Nkosazana Daughter, Essa Kay, Polegar Beatz, Goon Flavour, Josiah De Disciple, MusicHlonza, Shane907, and BanzoSinas SA really made the album worth the cents.
