W4de joins JayJayy in celebrating her 21st birthday with this four tracks EP called “2SPIN.”
Real name Kamogelo Makoma Jaydrean Mokoti, JayJayy is one of the most versatile Amapiano and AfroPop vocalists in the scene. As someone who is positively changing the scene with her soulful tone and magnetic energy, she continues to carve a unique identity for her brand and might be the next big thing to emerge from the South African scene.
W4de, on the other hand, needs no introduction. As one of the foremost producers in the piano scene, he is responsible for some of the biggest Amapiano records ever released. And with his production expertise, it only makes sense for him to align with a vocalist that perfectly complements his vocal skills, and for this reason, he has teamed up with JayJayy for this 4-track EP called “2SPIN.”
“2SPIN” is a short but concise project that details the production essence of W4de as well as the vocal range of JayJayy. While the tracks on this EP retain the recognizable vocal style of JayJayy, it does well to introduce us to a new dance-focused style we have never experienced from his corner before.
