“Xigubu” is the new Sgidongo song that will position the sub-Amapiano genre and this one is delivered by ShakaMan YKTV, Lowbass Djy & Royal MusiQ featuring Ag’zo & Djy Mash SA.
I am of the belief that Sgidongo will soon display private school piano to become the next big Amapiano sub-sound. Those in doubt of this are yet to wake up from their slumber. Heck, some of the finest Amapiano productions released over the past couple of years have been productions of Sgidongo origins.
Giving this emerging sub-sound more wings to soar higher, some of its pioneers, ShakaMan YKTV and Lowbass Djy, have tapped on Royal MusiQ, Ag’zo & Djy Mash SA for this spicy song called “Xigubu.” And sincerely, their contributions have made this song a standout amongst the pack as the most dancefloor-friendly Sgidongo song released so far this year.
“Xigubu” is out everywhere, and this one finds ShakaMan YKTV & Lowbass Djy going rogue, and this kind of radical approach to music making is what will continue to give Sgidongo an edge.
