ShaunMusiq continues his track record of concise, dancefloor-driven singles as he has just delivered to us yet another scorcher, “Everybody hates Mshoniziiy.”
For kids born in the ’90s, I believe Everybody Hates Chris was one of our favourite TV series. The show, which first aired in 2005, dominated our screens in the 2000s, and ShaunMusiq is making us relive these moments with his “Everybody Hates Mshoniziiy” single, a song that mimics the series’ opening theme, which was composed by Marcus Miller.
On this one, ShaunMusiq took Marcus Miller’s original work and reworked it into a song with strong Amapiano origins and essence, and the result is a song that will rock speakers.
People don’t know how creative Amapiano producers are. Imagine turning a 28-second song into a full-length record, injecting vibes and elements that make it fit for modern playlists. Releases like this are what distinguish ShaunMusiq from his peers in the industry. Imagine being able to fuse Amapiano with a song of old-school R&B/soul and a strong Motown influence.
