Hlengiwe Mhlaba has released her long awaited album, The Storm is Over, and one song that you shouldn’t sleep on is “Wehla.”
When it comes to gospel music, I doubt if anyone makes better music than Hlengiwe Mhlaba. Her songs are not just melodious; they are messages of hope, healing, grace, thanksgiving, and testimony. As a minister of the Lord, she has never failed to use her medium to propagate the gospel of Christ, and it’s for this reason she has remained one of our favourite evangelists.
When it comes to spreading the word of Christ, there are many ways this can be done, and one of such ways is through music. In this regard, Hlengiwe Mhlaba has done exceedingly well, releasing music that is deeply spiritual and anointed. In fact, there is no way you would listen to “Sewakhile,” “Living Waters,” and “Kubobonke OThixo” with Benjamin Dube and not get into the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Continuing to give us such powerful songs, she has returned once again with “Wehla,” and guys, you will love this one.
