MÖRDA was a guest at Kaya FM earlier this week on the 959 Breakfast show which was hosted by Dineo Ranaka and Sol. On the show, MÖRDA talked about his debut Asante Album which was dedicated to his daughter. He also revealed the reason behind the change of stage name and why he left to try a solo path.
When asked about his opinion on Black Motion’s new member, Kabelo Koma, Murdah Bongz (MÖRDA) said he was shocked and hurt to discover that Black Motion now has a new member.
“I was hurt when I discovered that Black Motion had a new member… I just found out on social media but I am meeting them tomorrow. Me, I was hurt but I still smile about it. I was busy travelling but I am meeting the guys.” – Murdah Bongz (MÖRDA)
Although championing his solo career, Murdah Bongz (MÖRDA) has said that he is still a member of Black Motion and still love the team.
“My heart is still Black Motion. I love Black Motion and I’m a member. I wanted to try something because I felt like we had reached the ceiling. It started to feel like we were sounding the same. I wanted to try out other opportunities,” MÖRDA said.
