As a winner of one of the most hotly contested seasons of the Idols, Thapelo Molomo Molomo walked away with an impressive prize package: just over R1 million cash, made up of R350 000 in a Standard Bank MyMo account, R300 000 from Spotify and R350,000 from Mzansi Magic; a Toyota Starlet and other amazing perks.
Despite the huge prizes won, Thapelo Molomo isn’t relenting as most people would expect. Just recently, he was seen distributing eggs he got from his farm and even with his celebrity status, he still reportedly goes to work at SAPS.
