Contrary to what’s being circulated in town about the death of Prokid, His family has come out to deny most allegations, at the same time stating the true cause of his death, Just recently a statement was issued on behalf of the Mkhize & Kheswa families, on the passing of their son, brother and father, Linda “ProKid” Mkhize (37).
According to the statement, Mkhize passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 after suffering a severe seizure whilst visiting friends.
The rapper and producer was pronounced dead at approximately 20h38 after the paramedics who were called to the scene failed to revive him after trying their best.
He is survived by his beloved mother Fikile Mkhize, his father Zwelakhe Kheswa, his wife Ayanda, his brothers, extended family and his three-year-old daughter, Nonkanyezi.
ProKid’s family requests that the media respect their privacy during this tragic period. Further details will be released in due time.
