DJ Defcon whose real name is Phumudzo Ramulongo AKA DJ Defcon was born in Lwamondo, Badama, a small in Venda, Limpopo Province.

Phumudzo Prof Ramulongo AKA DJ DefCon is becoming one of the most celebrated versatile DJs in South Africa. Phumudzo is a qualified Information Technology facilitator and assessor, however his interest in becoming a DJ started through lightening to fresh and the late Khabzela on YFM.

Despite the career change, Prof fell in love with music and started producing beats back in 2007.He formed his own recording label in 2019 called DefCon Entertainment.
