Dj Liquidator debuts with “Greater Power Amapiano Remix EP”, a body of work that shelters 6 tracks Featuring Nyico Loco, Pitso DeGrove, Elvee, Geel Tonic & Onthaxx, Small Pistol, and Sisco le-Super.
Kgaogelo Albert Maluleka (born 12 February 1992) is a South African Record producer and DJ. He began his music career in 2011, after the passing of his late DJ friend who always encouraged him to be a DJ. He then got a job at McDonalds so that he can buy his own DJ
equipment, since then he never looked back.
In a short period of time he became a known brand and could be spotted at the hottest parties, clubs and events around. One of DJ LIQUIDATOR’S abilities is hosting his own events, his events have grown rapidly with a great following. Which is something that helped elevate his presence and following DJ LIQUIDATOR is best known for bringing energy and charisma to every platform he occupy.
With a versatile and unique style of mixing and scratching on the decks, this makes his work more so different and fun to experience. He mainly plays house music, but he is also versatile and can delve into other genres like hip hop, electro, jazz and specific Pretoria music sound.
The extra kick is that he incorporate all these sounds, genres into his set, bringing something the listener rarely hears. It’s a skill that only a few masters. He started off his career like any other emerging and passionate dj, but his drive saw him growing steadily and solidly more so in his hometown in Pretoria Hammanskraal.
Dj liquidator started playing at the surrounding pubs, clubs, taverns and parks. He then took the bull by the horn and started organizing his own events, to help get his brand out there and ensuring he always have a slot on the decks.
DJ LIQUIDATOR has been using every opportunity that presents itself to get his footing solidly into the industry, hence his recent victory at the 2016 South African Red Bull 3style Dj Competition.
Some of his achievements saw him travelling to the Red Bull Studios in Cape Town to learn more about the industry. He has travelled and performed all over the country from Limpopo, Free State, North West and Gauteng. At events like Spring Fiesta, TUT freshers, House
of Vans, Tshwane New Year party, Metro FM spring jump off and more other events around the country.
