If there is any group that has the potential of taking over the piano streets, then it should be Dub501, here comes this 100% mix from the duo tagged “Sorry4TheWait Vol 002 Mix”.
Dub501 is a new age Amapiano duo formed in Soweto in 2020. The group was formed by MuziqalMe and Nkulee501.
Dub501 is composed of Kagiso ‘MuziqalMe’ Hlongwane (DJ/ songwriter) and Nkululeko ‘Nkulee501’ Nkosi (DJ/producer). MuziqalMe who was born in Tembisa moved to Soweto in 2015 and met Nkulee501 in 2019 through a mutual friend.
The meeting was a timely one as MuziqalMe was a DJ who wanted to learn how to produce and Nkulee501 was a producer who wanted to learn how to DJ, so they both decided to exchange skills.
“Sorry4TheWait” is their first mixtape series and they have really impressed us with the track selections and timing.
