DJ Christos was a guest at this week’s episode of the Groove Cartel session. Groove Cartel is a platform which showcases DJs & artists in and around South Africa, with a focus on music & culture of the people of South Africa. So far, they have hosted several Amapiano, house and gqom producers on their weekly event to sample what they like playing and this week they host DJ Christos on the set.
DJ Christos is one who during apartheid, defied the law by blazing the township house scene when it was illegal to do so. His passion for music made him a regular in the Township nightlife as he dished out music for partygoers. Continuing with this buzz, he serves us a timeless production on this latest.
