Dj Stokie was first a house producer before switching to Amapiano during its early days. This revelation he made known on his iPiano eSoweto: Amapiano Documentary which was first aired on MTVbase. Retracing his step back to his root, the veteran producer has cooked up something with De Mthuda called “House & Piano”.
“House & Piano” is an attempt by DJ Stokie to create a hybrid sound which has both Amapiano and house elements. De Mthuda is making this possible as he brings in his wealth of experience in both genres.
