“I Started Deejaying When I Was 9yrs, But Got My Big Break In 2020” – Lady DU

Not many have know the past struggles of popular artists in the music industry. Last night, rising vocalist and Amapiano sensation, Lady Du has shared some inspirational story about her journey into the music industry.

According to the rising talent, she came into the music scene as a deejay when she was just 9 years old and was the first and youngest female deejay to ever get behind the turnables in South Africa. She also hinted of playing with vinyls and despite her dedication and consistency, she only got her big break in 2020.

I started this when I was 9 years old, Facebook and Instagram weren’t there. I was the first and youngest female Dj, I played with vinyls. I only got my big break now in 2020. So remember to never give up in your dreams.
