Just when we thought we have seen it all, Nomcebo Zikode has come out with a shocking revelation of how she hasn’t been appreciated and paid a cent for her enormous contributions to the Jerusalem hit single that was produced by Master KG.
She made the revelation today after months of trying to bottle in the injustice melted on her by her former music partner. According to her, she has been ridiculed by Open Mic productions to get proper re-addressing on this matter and has now contacted her lawyers for some legal battles. Read her statement below.
Thank you to all the fans of #Jerusalem you have made my dreams a reality with attaining a global hit song. My voice and lyrics have transcended globally, but I still await what is due to me.
I have not been paid a cent by the label for #Jerusalem despite the song’s global success. I have been ridiculed, with efforts to marginalize my contribution.
The continued love and support from the fans of #Jerusalem has been my strength and anchor during this (difficult time).
I as a female artist can’t stay silent on this anymore, the matter is now with my lawyers.
