“Igaido” is a new hybrid piano sound by De Madala & Sub Air Low Featuring Na Khathide. De Madala & Sub Air Low is a DJ duo that was brought together by their common love of deep house music.
Driven by the desire to transmit emotion through music the duo from the East Rand in Gauteng met up with Na Khathide, who has a strong love and affiliation to the music of Afro Soul.
When the three got together in 2021 they realized that amongst them they had a great combination of musical taste and with that the ability to produce a new sound. Merging Sub Air Low Hip Hop, Na Khathide love’s of Afro Soul and De Madala passion for club music a new sound was born.
All together they make up some of the members of EL Cartel. A meeting not only of musical minds, but young men looking to not only bring a new perspective on loved genres, but to also change the perspective of those in the neighbourhoods they come from through their music.
