Just when we are about enjoying the content of S & M MusiQ, Sushi Da Deejay has today announced the dissolution of the group which has Mthetho The-Law as its member.
In an exclusive interview, the talented deejay (Sushi Da Deejay) talked about his exists from S&M MusiQ, his
background and a whole lot of gists.
Interviewer: Tell us About yourself
Sushi Da Deejay: I’m a multi talented professional DJ, Producer and songwriter. My real name is Mpho Mofokeng I was born in free State(qwa qwa)Tseki and raised in the busy streets of Vosloorus. I became a Dj at the age of 16 then introduced my self to music Production at the age of 18 when I met De Mthuda as he is the one that influenced me to start making my own music, let’s just say he is my tutor.
Interviewer: Tell Us Why You Left The S & M MusiQ group
Sushi Da Deejay: Well I left the group simply because most of my efforts weren’t being noticed or rather ignored. I feel like if I could invest what I did for the team on myself, something good will come out as I always did before the duo was formed Otherwise no hard feelings.
I prefer peace than grudges, same as my boy Mthetho. I believe in him that he will still make it without me. I enjoyed working with him as we made great music together. As it stand, I won’t go into deep details on what caused the breakup between us. Me leaving S & M MusiQ won’t change the person I have been. I am Still the same Sushi Da Deejay that
deliver the soulful matured sounds and I’m still gonna Bless my followers.
