The South African Music Awards (SAMAs) looks to have bowed to pressure from Amapiano fans as they now have a new category for the sub-house genre.
In the past, The best of Kwaito, Amapiano and Gqom were grouped under same category which didn’t go well with the fans of these three house titans. This led the management to discontinued the category thereby creating rooms for 3 new categories, they are, Best Amapiano Album, Best Gqom Album and Best kwaito Album.
Entry is available before the 31st of January 2021.
