When Thuske SA released a solo project without any input from Amu Classic and Kappie via the “5 Tracks Appreciation EP”, we knew things were not right with the ATK MusiQ brand. Confirming our fears and worries, Simnandi records has just announced the departure of Thuske SA from ATK MusiQ and going forward, the rising star will be pursuing his career as a solo deejay and producer.
This won’t be the first time Simnandi records will be losing some of its finest acts, just some months back, they saw the departure of Record L Jones and Slenda vocals who left after spending few months with DJ jaivane, when asked why they left they record, they cited poor treatment from the label boss.
For now we can’t confirm why Thuske SA is going Solo but we believe it has to do with his relationship with the other members of the ATK crew. Read the official press release below.

Simnandi Records would regrettably like to announce the departure of Thulani ”Thuske” Mashinini, who was part of the group ATK Musiq.
Thulani “Thuske” Mashinini who was a competent member of our team, has decided to pursue his career as Producer and DJ solo.
With one of the members of a well renowned group departing, the remaining members will soon be reintroduced since ATK no longer exits. ”ATK Muslq” will remain to be remembered for the great talent and music it has produced for it’s fans.
Simnandi Records and the rest of the team members would like to wish Thulani “Thuske” Mashinini all the best in his future endeavours.
