The management of The South African Amapiano Music Awards has come under fire by Piano fans for their exclusions of some of the pioneers of the sound such as Entity MusiQ, Tallarsetee, Vigro Deep, Sir Trill, Mdu aka TRP, Bongza, Kota Embassy and other notable acts.
Explaining why they excluded these stars, SAAPA stated that the artists who were not nominated weren’t in the mainstream piano but private school.
They also stated that category for those who produces Private school and soulful piano will be announced this coming Friday.
